I am an analytical chemist. My main research interest is in the use of advanced materials, such as, nanomaterials, molecularly imprinting polymers (MIP), etc., to develop a simple, inexpensive, and versatile methodology or device that can be efficiently applied for quantitative analysis and applied in the health, environmental, food, or agricultural fields. My current research focuses on the development of paper-based analytical devices (PADs) integrated with smartphones for medical and environmental applications.
